When is your tire repairable?
That's my exact question this morning as I head off to
my local tire shop.
A few months ago I had a tiny nail in my front tire and
another in my back tire. So I took them in to get patched.
My tires have 23,000 miles on them and there's still some
life left in them. I've had them balanced and rotated along
the way and I mostly do local driving. So, I'm trying to
keep my tires.
But when your warning sensor light keeps coming
on and it's making you crazy - well it's time to
take action.
In the last two weeks my back tire keeps losing air - a lot
of air. So I keep filling it up! But the weird thing is
that the sensor keeps going off for the front tire!
The moral of the story is that if you don't want to end up
with a flat tire in some isolated location.....take care of your tires.
But of course you can always call us if you find yourself with
an unexpected flat or blowout.
