Miller Industries Towing Equipment is 

sponsoring the 100 year anniversary

of the "Holmes" tow truck.

The towing and recovery industry owes it's 100 year

celebration to Ernest Holmes, who in 1916 in Chattanooga

built the first tow truck by attaching a rigging system

to a Cadillac, marking the birth of the towing and

recovery industry.

Move Over, We Have to Keep Talking About This

Another senseless death, tow truck operator David Duchnik Jr,
29 years old from Lackawanna County, PA. 

He was assisting at a crash scene on Interstate 81 when
he was hit by a vehicle and died from his injuries.

"Tow Truck operators play just as important a role as do police,
firefighters and ambulance personnel, but many motorists
don't seem to take what we do as seriously", said
Ed Cardiello, owner of Ed's Towing in Mount Pocono.
