The family and friends of tow truck driver Blake Gresham continue to honor

his memory and to bring awareness to the Move Over Law.

 Blake was only 18 when he was hit and killed in 2012.

Friday, August 26th is

National Dog Day

A day set aside for us to recognize and appreciate the dogs in

our lives.  It's a day of honoring for the dogs that bring so 

much love and companionship into our lives.

It's also a day that brings awareness to the homeless

animal shelters around the country.  

Maybe you've been thinking of bringing a dog into

your family; getting that nudge that something is

missing.........and you're right!

Philly Tow Scam

Come on now guys............this has got to stop!  In this age of technology

everything is becoming transparent, people are watching and recording.....

and placing videos on youtube for the world to see!

Seems there's a tow truck company in South Philly that has a scam

going on; it's hard to argue when there's actual video footage of the scam going on.  

People are fighting back.

Seems to be a "movable No Parking sign" that this company uses

to bait drivers into a parking spot.  Someone parks their car, the tow company plops 

down a No Parking Sign and then tows away the car.

Seems it's been going on for awhile and there's a guy in an

apartment overlooking this scam location and well he's been keeping tabs.

This stuff reflects on the towing industry.  We can't let one rotten apple

spoil the barrel.  This scam company should be held responsible for

their actions.

Beware of Live Grenades!

This story out of Kansas, Mo.

Illegally parked vehicle was being prepped for

towing when someone noticed a 

grenade in the vehicle.

An explosives team was called in and sure

enough, it was a live grenade. 

Tow truck drivers need to be on the lookout

for attack dogs or people who refuse to leave

their vehicles..................and now grenades!

 

We're not in Kansas anymore, most certainly not the 

Kansas we loved as children in the Wizard of Oz!
