This article caught my eye this morning, it just reminds me

of a more peaceful, uncomplicated time in our world.  Fits right

in with today being International Peace Day.

United States was Kirby's Pig Stand, which went into business Sept. 29, 1921, in Dallas, 

just 13 years after Henry Ford opened his first factory to manufacture the Model T.

Flying Burritos

The drones are coming and will be flying over

Virginia Tech delivering Chipotle Burritos..........

Virginia Tech is conducting the test this month

with Project Wing, a unit of Google which makes

self flying devices that deliver food, medicine and

other goods.

I remember lots of buzz last year when Amazon

was trying to seek approval for drones to

deliver their products but if I recall the FAA

said not so fast, a few bugs need to be worked out.

The FAA approved the Florida Tech site back in

2013........and here we are, students awaiting

the delivery of their burrito!

I can see how tow trucks will be needed to tow

 these drones down the road.......time will tell!
