Throwback Thursday: 1/25/2016

Oh, what a storm it was!

Maryland is buried in snow and the clean up is now underway

throughout the State.  Harford County was tracked at receiving

upwards of 33" of snow.

This story brings to mind all the un-sung
heroes of the world - all the stories
you don't get to hear.  But really it comes
down to knowing in your heart of hearts that
you did good, that you brought a kindness or
goodness into the world, even for just a moment.

In the towing industry we get to witness humanity up
close and personal, on a daily basis.  As a service business,
it is our job to rescue the stranded.  Even though this is
a paid service we still come face to face with varying
amounts of fear. A huge part of what we do involves
compassion for our fellow man.  Sometimes the fear is
palpable; a single woman stranded in a snow drift - she
could be our mother, sister, aunt or friend and that's how we
respond, putting the fear to rest.

A Message from AAA


Governor O'Malley expanded the State of Maryland's

Move Over laws to now include Tow Truck Operators.

This law went into effect October 1, 2014 and

comes with a hefty fine of $500 if not adhered to.

The law states if you see a tow truck driver on the shoulder, 

you must move into an open lane away from the tow truck 

or slow down to a safe speed.

This is the same law protecting first responders; police, 

emergency vehicles and now tow trucks.

You've got to Move Over - It Saves Lives!
