9/11 Remembrance

Due to Irma I had no power the past few days and was unable

to post this 9/11 message.  It's important that we remember and pay

tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11.

Silence and Reverence for the 3,000 innocent 

victims who lost their lives 9/11/01.

Yesterday marked the 16th Anniversary

of 9/11.   The victims are forever

etched on our hearts in our thoughts

everyday.

Lord, take me where

me out of your way. 

This prayer was found in the pocket

of Franciscan Friar Mychal Judge,

the New York City Fire Dept. Chaplain who died

September 11th, 2001 at ground zero.

Bracing for hurricane IRMA as it makes its way to the United States.........

exactly which States will be affected no one knows at this time.  

Trajectory maps show the hurricane barreling through the

center of Florida and continuing towards Georgia or the

Carolina's.  But we won't know until it makes a turn.

Tow Lives REALLY Matter

Tow truck driver's leg amputated after hit and run
involving semi

The tow truck driver was getting ready to move a disabled vehicle
when he was struck by a semi - THAT DID NOT STOP and he
now ended up losing his leg.

THIS HAS TO STOP!!!!

More attention needs to be given to the

MOVE OVER Law and that's why I try to bring

an article every week to bring a continuing awareness

to this issue.

Labor Day was celebrated for the first time in New York City in 1882.  

It was originally celebrated on September 5th, but was moved to the 

first Monday in September in 1884.  Labor Day started out as a state holiday, 

getting voted in by individual states, but gained popularity and 

was voted a national holiday by the U.S. Congress in 1894. INFO
