When Justice is Done

A story came out this morning from Kentucky about tow truck driver Steven Simpson.

He was killed 2 years ago while in the process of loading a vehicle

on a wrecker.

The driver that killed him was 36 year old William Hillard. Two years

later it's been determined that Hillard was intoxicated and has now

been brought up on charges of murder in the death of

42 year old tow truck driver Steven Simpson.

This is just sad.  Two young lives destroyed.

Dead Battery?

I was headed out about 8am a few days ago..........and my car would not start, would

not turn over at all! My Nissan is all of 3 years old!!!

First panic set in...........what the heck? 

I had to beg assistance from a reluctant neighbor to give me a jump - 

and he did and off I went to the nearest auto store.  Driving the

few miles to the store, having to stop at lights along the way - well

that brought it's own kind of stress.  I was praying I wouldn't stall out and

kicking myself for not having a set of jumper cables.

Sure enough my battery was completely dead!

My little Nissan requires a certain battery that cost $172.00!!!!  Has

the world gone crazy.  My previous car was a Hyundai that I traded in

at 13 years old, I had to change out the battery one time at a cost of $55.00!

So, wasn't I shocked!

Anyway, if you find yourself in a similar situation and can't find someone
