How's a Tow Truck Driver to Know?

Gut instinct?  Keen insight?  Years of experience..........

A tow truck was called out to to tow a vehicle, when he arrives

on the scene he sees a vehicle with a boat - which by the way was

filled with beer and groceries!

After chatting with the man who was unsuccessfully trying to

hitch the boat to the vehicle, the tow truck driver just

"feels" something is not right.

Believe it or not there was a For Sale sign on the boat, so the

driver stepped away and called the number. The real owner of the boat

answered and asked the tow truck driver to stall while he called 911.

Is this insane?

Pet Care as we Head Into Summer

We love our pets and they love us!

So let's be sure to take care of them this summer.

Heat and humidity are sweltering for us and them!

It takes approximately 30 minutes for a dog

to become overheated and possibly a fatal situation

in a closed car - which becomes an oven, reaching

temps above 115 degrees.

Please, please.........should you lock your keys in

your car take immediate action.  If you call

George's Custom Towing, be sure to tell us of your

situation so we may get to you as quickly as possible.

We have pets too and love them just like you do.

Here are some quick summer dog safety tips:

- Do not walk your dog on hot asphalt............ooh, hurts their

little feet.

- Do not shave your dog, they get sunburns too!

-Check your dog for ticks

-Provide plenty of water

Does your dog have heat stroke?

Any signs of nausea/vomiting, dehydration, loss of

consciousness, stumbling, heavy panting, bright red tongue

or brain damage...............please rush to the Vet!

Operation Safe Tow

This is so awesome!  M.A.D.D. and the Lexington, SC Police Department

have implemented Operation Safe Tow to get drunk drivers off the road.

This is so PROACTIVE!  

It makes sense - to the intoxicated -  that someone would choose to 

drive drunk so they don't have to leave their vehicle, now they have

the option to call a participating tow truck company

in the Lexington market that will get them and their vehicle

home for a price of $100.

$100 vrs $1,000+ plus a DUI on your record..........this is

a no brainer.
